The Big Build Team, along with a huge number of trade volunteers, worked together to build a new centre for the Getaway Girls Charity.

Getaway Girls was created to offer support to vulnerable woman and girls within Leeds. Their core mission is to empower users of their centre. Encouraging them to support each other, build on their own confidence, raise their own aspirations and help them develop new skills. The centre provides a new positive and safe environment for girls and young women to grow. Getaway Girls has empowered over 13,500 girls and young women in 30 years

Barrett Steel Limited were proud to supply reinforced steel sheeting that formed part of the buildings under-floor heating system, allowing heat to be evenly distributed throughout.
