13 June 2016

Barrett Steel sponsor the Bradford Means Business Awards for the 4th time.
On Saturday 11th June, Barrett Steel attended the Bradford Means Business awards ceremony at the glamorous Aagrah’s Midpoint suite, in Bradford. Host Jon Hammond kicked off the evening and then passed the microphone on to the Editor of the Telegraph & Argus, Perry Austin Clark who spoke of the importance of the awards, the businesses that contribute to the economy and the life styles of Bradford. Next up was Susan Hinchcliffe - new head of Bradford Council; who spoke of the city’s developments and her belief in the people and businesses of Bradford. The Key Note Speaker for the evening was Dale Stafford, founder and author of The Principal Department who gave an inspirational and motivational talk to the assembled audience. After a break and an Indian banquet it was on to the awards.

The highlight of our night was Airedale Springs, winning the award for Manufacturer of the Year which was sponsored by ourselves. The award was presented by Andrew Hirst, Managing Director of our Bradford Head Office. We would like to thank the Telegraph & Argus for holding such a great & memorable night and helping Bradford to show the rest of the country what we are really made of!
