CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)

Dear Customers and Suppliers 

Over the last few days the impact of COVID-19 has increased with many more cases being reported.

The situation and guidance changes daily, but we would like to reassure customers that Barrett Steel are taking all actions necessary to ensure our employees remain safe, and that our depots maintain a continuity of supply to our customers.

We are following government guidelines in terms of:

• Hygiene procedures
• Business and personal travel restrictions 
• Self-isolation and Home Working 
• Business meetings and events cancellation 


We consider that have a robust and diverse supply chain both domestically and globally. Our national depot network also provides us with flexibility to meet demand.

We have formed a Steering Group to hold daily calls to allow us to plan and react to situations across our Group.

As things stand all our major steels suppliers and logistics partners are fully operational. We will provide an update if anything changes.
