The British Enduro Championship is the UK’s biggest enduro mountain bike race and is proudly organised through a collaboration of several race organisers. The BEC’s goal is to act as a national governing body for enduro and create an organised event that is safe for riders and attendees and enjoyed by all. Enduro racing is a demanding sport that requires a unique combination of skill, endurance, and strategy. Competitors must navigate challenging terrain while managing their stamina.

This event will take place over the next few weeks, with races held across the UK.

Ricky Wiggins is a talented and dedicated racer who has been improving on his skills for years. He has competed in numerous races and is known for his ability to push himself to the limit. With our sponsorship, he has access to the latest equipment and training resources, giving him the edge he needs to perform at his best.

‘‘We started our very long journey to Lossiemouth in Northern Scotland where the first two rounds of the British Enduro Championship were being held. The 2-day event consisted of 8 x 24-mile loop, 14 special tests and 11 hours on the bike. The sandy beaches, loamy forests and tight time schedule really tested all of us riders.

I have to say it was one of the most physically demanding races I have done, it was a great way to start the championship and I felt good throughout the weekend. Finishing P3 E3 both days, P8/9 overall in the championship class made the relentlessness of the weekend worth it. I am now looking forward to rounds 3 & 4 at the end of May held at Helmsley, Yorkshire.’’
