The acquisition encompasses Aartee Bright Bar Limited’s distribution business, located in Rugby, Bolton, Newport and Southampton, and its Bright Bar facility operating out of Willenhall, as well as Aartee Bright Bar Property Limited’s freehold and leasehold interests at these sites.
 
The acquired sites will now trade as Barrett Engineering Steel Rugby, Barrett Engineering Steel Bolton, Barrett Engineering Steel Newport and Barrett Engineering Steel South.   
 
The move has seen Barrett Steel welcome 173 new employees to their Group, helping to secure jobs in the UK steel industry.
 
Today’s acquisition sees the growth of the 6th generation family steel businesses network to 35 locations across the UK, and provides Barrett Steel with an ideal base to further service and support customers in the Midlands, the South West, the North West and Wales.
