Congratulations to all our colleagues, customers and suppliers across the Barrett Steel Limited network for raising the huge sum of £13,979.05 for Air Ambulances UK.

Air Ambulances UK are the UKs frontline emergency response service. Their work is vital, as they make around 80 lifesaving missions each day. They bring the emergency department to patients who need immediate medical attention and provide advanced critical care to save lives.

Just one air ambulance mission costs between £2,500 to £3,000. Therefore, its essential that we help as much as we can by giving just a short amount of our time to make sure that Air Ambulances UK can be there for the people who need it.

Our colleagues have worked incredibly hard over the last few months, designing their own fundraisers. We initially pledged to raise at least £5,000 and each depot was given its own fundraising target to hit.

From charity golf events to coffee mornings, our teams went above and beyond to reach their targets.
