The BES 6001 certification is a recognised benchmark for responsible sourcing, covering environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria across the supply chain.
By extending certification across more operational sites, Barrett Steel enhances:
A key advantage of this expansion is the certification of Scunthorpe and Willenhall, both of which operate as central processing hub facilities within the group.
Our Willenhall site in particular, plays a critical role in servicing engineering division sites with stock, meaning customers across the network now benefit from certified responsible sourcing at scale.
This ensures consistency in standards across multiple locations while simplifying compliance for customers working on regulated or sustainability-driven projects.
