The work off the pitch continues with the enhancement of the Kitchen in the Sports and Social Club, this has been made possible from funding via the FA Howdens Games Changer Programme in addition to the use of Club funds.

Following completion of the kitchen is now in operation producing excellent food for the Club membership and visiting guests.

There is also a lot of work ongoing behind the scenes for updating the Sports Hall, with both of the facilities helping to improve the experience of all who visit the Barrett Steel Stadium, the home of Bottesford Town Football Club.

Two of our under 7s teams went ahead in a thriller at the Barrett Steel Stadium. It was a dramatic game in which the young players, 6 and 7 years of age, ran their socks for 40 minutes. The boys shared 10 goals between them and seemed to really enjoy an end-to-end game. It was a windy and bitter morning but as you can see this did not put off the players who after the match cheered each other on through a penalty shootout.

Sunday 10th March

Sunday saw just the one game at the Barrett Steel Stadium as our Under 14s welcomed App Frod Saints for a cup semifinal. Bottesford got off to a great start when Corey White scored after 2 minutes to settle Bottesford nerves. App Frod never gave in, but Bottesford struck twice more in the first half through Ethan Walters & Archie Piccoli-RIdley. The second half started evenly contested but Bottesford had more of the ball in App Frods defensive third. Bottesford sealed the win when Freddie Lee rose to head home from a corner and Ethan Walters drove a 5th home to see Bottesford reach the under 14 divisional cup final.
