In addition, we strive to work in partnership with our customers, sharing our judgement, expertise and outstanding problem-solving capabilities to ensure the success of your project.

We are currently working towards achieving accreditation to ISO 14001:2004.

As part of our Environmental Improvement Strategy, Barrett Steel has started a £300,000 project to install solar panels at four of our sites. The project which will reduce the amount of CO2 emissions by 150 tonnes will be trialled initially at Burton and at other Barrett sites in Bradford, Oldham and Reading. Within the next 12-18 months the project will be extended to Barrett Steel Group sites across the UK.
