Steel flat bars are simple yet versatile steel product that have a rectangular cross-section with parallel flat surfaces and consistent thickness along their length.

Typical applications of steel flat bars include structural support in construction, such as beam construction, staircases, fences, and bracing. 

Flat bars are also widely employed in the fabrication of agricultural and industrial equipment, transportation components, and general engineering applications. Their flat profile makes them suitable for use as tie rods, stringers, wear strips, and support brackets and they can be easily bent, punched, or machined into custom shapes for specialised applications.
