Barrett Engineering Steel Bolton became a pivotal asset following its acquisition through the Aartee deal in 2023. Located strategically within a 5-mile radius of the M60, the 23,000 sq. ft facility is ideally located to ensure swift and effective service to customers across Lancashire, Merseyside, Yorkshire, and Greater Manchester on our fleet of 3 dedicated vehicles. The site boasts an extensive stock of over 1000 tonnes of Carbon and Alloy materials, with a substantial 800 tonnes in Bright condition. Precision cutting is achieved by 5 automated saws capable of handling materials up to 400mm dia. A significant upgrade in late 2023 included the installation of two new cranes, marking a crucial step in the modernisation of our operations. This strategic investment solidifies Barrett Engineering Steel Bolton's position as a prominent player in the regional steel market.
Barrett Engineering Steel Division holds just under 15,000 tonnes of Engineering Bar Steel from 3mm dia. to 720mm dia. at 4 dedicated locations across the UK. Our sites can offer Collection as well as Next Day Delivery supplying material as bar lengths or cut pieces.
Our extensive stock range is managed by our Purchasing Team who ensure consistent levels of supply from our rigorously vetted, approved, and trusted steel mills. Whilst our divisional Technical team help maintain high standards throughout the supply chain and operationally across the Division as well as supporting with material queries and working with our commercial team and customers on more complex engineering steel requirements.
Dedicated Account Managers with industry experience and extensive technical knowledge are proud to work alongside customers offering tailored solutions to reduce costs while strengthening supply chains. Experienced in understanding the requirements of OEMs and their subcontractor suppliers we are able to offer a Just In Time service to improve cash flow as well as call off agreements for larger quantities of stock allowing customers to take advantage of mill sized orders.
