STEEL STOCKHOLDERS STORAGE

Barrett Steel has worked in close partnership for many years with a major supplier of containers to the off-shore oil industry worldwide.

As the UK’s largest independent steel stockholder, we are uniquely placed to serve this most demanding of industries, offering not only extensive stocks of top quality S355-grade steel, immediately available off the shelf, but also some of the most advanced in-house laser technology in the country. This enables us to manufacture advanced kit-form container frames of all sizes to within 0.1mm accuracy; most steel stockholders would simply supply hollow section steel requiring processing by the customer.

Our added-value service, combined with total reliability and fast turnaround times, has enabled our client to increase turnover in recent years from £3 million to £14 million by successfully serving customers across the globe including America, India, Brazil and China.

Our fully trained metallurgists and technical experts work closely with our customers to specify timescales, materials, process requirements and specifications. We personally oversee every stage of a project because its success is as important to us as it is to you.

All our materials and products are supplied with full certification and traceability and comply with the specifications set by each country we supply to worldwide.
