Barrett Engineering Steel's commitment to invest in stocks has seen us add a range of 01 Tool Steel to complement our existing D2 material. Both 01 and D2 are held in a range of round and flat sections.
This product is an air hardening chromium die steel which can be used for a range of applications including hot forging and pressing dies, extrusion dies, mandrels and punches. The higher vanadium content ensures increased resistance to heat checking and all round improvement to properties at elevated temperatures. Size range: 16mm to 800mm diameter
Other products and grades can be supplied on request. To compliment the above items we also offer ground flat stock, silver steel, key steel and shim steel. Other grades of Tool Steel are also available such as P20, M2, D6 and H11 in both round and flat form.
