Taylor steel is a specialist steel stockholder dedicated to delivering outstanding service levels. We were established in Oldham in 1974 although the business in Birmingham was started in 1889.

We are pleased to announce our latest processing investment of a Kasto C 15 Bandsaw. This state of the art saw is the first of it's kind to come to the UK and reporesents our largest investment to date at £250,000. The saw has capabilities to cut ten times faster than a conventional bandsaw, whilst providing a smooth, mirror finished cut surface.

Taylor’s is a supplier of black and bright, carbon and alloy steel products. We also specialise in engineering bar. We operate in many industry sectors including engineering, power generation, oil and gas, aerospace and automotive. This mix of products and sectors requires the support of diverse processing facilities.
Services
To meet your processing needs we deliver an extensive array of processing services consisting of: saw cutting, drilling, punching, shearing, shotblasting and primer painting.
Through our commitment to provide the best quality customer service, we have also developed our specialised, user friendly online website ‘Steel Account’.
This system allows you to –

In-house transport fleet
We have our own transport fleet ranging from small delivery vans to articulated lorries able to carry up to 25 tonnes. This means you can be confident of rapid, reliable and cost-effective delivery to the exact location of your choice, wherever you are in the country.
