Locum Fine Steels, operating from our site in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, is a one stop shop for all your engineering steel requirements. We are a major supplier of engineered steel solutions and an experienced worldwide export using long standing logistics partners.

We hold over 10,000 tonnes of stock including:

· Alloy and stainless round bars
· Square billets
· Blooms
As part of the Barrett Group, we can also rapidly source a full range of products and raw materials from other Barrett depots across the country.
Services
We are able to reduce our end user machining costs by in house process facilities which include precision centre-less grinding, peeling and black and bright reeling.
We supply semi-finished components via approved contractors, offering forging, machining, heat treatment and none destructive testing.
In addition to our extensive stock range, we provide first-stage machining services to customers in many diverse and growing market sectors. We are continually investing in new equipment and the latest technology to ensure we can continue to meet the changing and developing needs of our customers.
Through our commitment to provide the best quality customer service, we have also developed our specialised, user friendly online website ‘Steel Account’.
This system allows you to –

In-house transport fleet
We have our own transport fleet ranging from small delivery vans to articulated lorries able to carry up to 25 tonnes. This means you can be confident of rapid, reliable and cost-effective delivery to the exact location of your choice, wherever you are in the country.
